MITEL SX-2000 ADAPTIVE INTEGRATION
If Alternate Transfer Codes are required, configure them according to
the specific application. After answering a call, the MIC firmware
presses the Superset 4 TRANS/CONF softkey upon receiving the first
flash (F) from the VCU and presses the CANCEL softkey upon
receiving the second flash. Therefore, each Transfer Initiate code and
each Reconnect code must contain one F.
System Parameter 33 — PBX INITIALIZE CODE
Modify the value of System Parameter 33 to be NONE.
System Parameter 56 — NUMBER OF TRANSFER RETRIES IF
FLASH FAILS
This system parameter must be set to 0 for all systems using Mitel
Integration Cards.
System Parameter 77 — PBX SUPPLIES MOMENTARY
DISCONNECT
Modify the value of System Parameter 77 to be YES. Although the
Mitel SX-2000 does not actually provide momentary disconnect, the
MIC simulates the momentary disconnect to the VP 300 when it
detects that a caller has hung up.
System Parameter 85 — RECONNECT CODE AFTER 3RD
PARTY HUNG UP
Modify the value of System Parameter 85 to be F.
System Parameter 106 — PORT FOR LAMP MESSAGE
WAITING
If a single VP 300 port is to be dedicated for MWI, enter the port
number in System Parameter 106. Otherwise, modify System
Parameter 106 to 0.
System Parameter 116 — INTEGRATION TYPE
Modify the value of System Parameter 116 to YES.
System Parameter 117 — RINGBACKS BEFORE ANSWERING
AX PORT
Modify the value of System Parameter 117 to be 5. This gives the VP
300 extra time to receive the displays from the PBX.
The VP 300 normally answers the call immediately within one
ring upon receiving a call record from the MIC. This system
parameter provides for a fail-safe mode of operation. The ports
answer calls in AX mode in the event that the VP 300 does not
receive call information from the digit display links. The caller
will get the company greeting.
