I CDR Size by Transaction Type
The VP 300 allocates 1/4MB of disk space for CDR call records, and records a time stamp
(TIMEST) every 2K. Each call record requires from 10 to 18 bytes, depending on the number
of digits in the mailbox. The Table 5-8 shows the length of call detail records by transaction
type.
To estimate how many days the CDR records can be stored before the buffer becomes full and
the log file's Begin Time wraps, for each transaction type enabled:
