phone B is off-hook so that it appears busy.
C. From phone A, call the extension number of phone B. Does the Superset 4 ring
immediately?
NO
Determine the cause and correct the problem before continuing.
D. Look at the display of the Superset 4. The display should contain this information:
FROM XXX
XXX is the extension of phone B.
If the display does not contain this information, determine the cause and correct the
problem before continuing.
E. Press the display feature button on the Superset 4. The display should now contain:
DISPLAY...
If the display does not contain this information, determine the cause and correct the
problem before continuing.
F. Now press the Superset 4 prime line key. The display should contain this information:
YYY CALLING
YYY is the extension number of phone A.
If the display does not contain this information, determine the cause and correct the
problem before continuing.
G. Press the EXIT softkey on the Superset 4 (this should appear as softkey 1). The time
and date should return to the display. Hang up phone A. Leave phone B set to forward
to the Superset 4 on ring-no-answer.
External Call Forwarded on Busy
H. Re-configure the test trunk line to ring directly into phone B.

Using phone A, call out of the PBX and back in on the test trunk. Does the Superset 4
ring immediately?
NO
Determine the cause and correct the problem before continuing.
J.
Look at the Superset 4 display. The display should contain this information:
FROM XXX
XXX is the extension of phone B.
If the display does not contain this information, determine the cause and correct the
problem before continuing.
