Mounting the Power Supply
A separate -48 VDC power supply is used with the DAC application; one power supply is
needed for each 16 DAC ports. Dimensions of the power supply are 12"H, 5"W, and 7.5"D.
The power supply is mounted on the backboard near the VP 300 cabinet.
The DC power cable is 12 feet long, so it must be mounted within 9 feet of the VP 300
cabinet.
The AC power cord extends 6 feet from the power supply to the wall socket. The part
number for the power supply assembly is 740-6050-001 for installations in USA and
Canada only. In other countries, the power supply is provided by the local distributor.
