Assign a COS with Attribute 9 to those mailboxes of extensions that are
to have message waiting indication.
COS Attribute 15 — TRANSFER TO A RINGING EXTENSION
Assign a COS with Attribute 15 to mailboxes of extensions that will be
set to forward to the VP 300 on ring-no-answer.
Individuals with this COS attribute assigned to their mailbox, must
set their phones to forward on ring-no-answer to the MIC hunt
group. The forwarding can be set up only at each individual phone,
and forwarding may be lost in the event of a PBX restart.
ACTIVATION
Modify INFORMATION Table Index 25 to YES to allow selected direct
internal callers to be able to change and turn ON/OFF their personal
greetings without first entering their mailboxes.
COS Attribute 58 — DO NOT USE THIS PORT FOR
INTEGRATION
If there are any line cards in the VP 300 that are not MICs, or if some
special application requires that a MIC port operate in a non-integrated
mode, use this COS attribute to distinguish these ports from the integrated
MIC ports.
ANSWERING MODE
With Mitel SX-100/SX-200 Analog Adaptive Integration, all integrated
ports should be configured for AX answering mode to maximize
utilization of VP 300 ports.
CONFIGURATION OF PORTS
To maximize system performance and port usage, all VP 300 ports should
be configured for OUTCALL, except the ports used for message waiting
control (if any). Enable testing on all MIC ports.
Each link for MWI must be programmed as a default or be assigned a list
of COS numbers.
Specify only one default message waiting link.
Refer to the Configuration manual — SLOTS Table, for further
information on configuring the SLOTS Table.

RECONNECT CODE AFTER NO ANSWER
RECONNECT CODE AFTER BUSY
RECONNECT CODE AFTER FAST BUSY
TRANSFER COMPLETE CODE
Modify the value of Transfer Initiate Code to be FE. Modify the value of
all Reconnect Codes to be F, and modify the value of Transfer Complete
Code to be NONE.
