Section 7: Replacement Procedures

7.29 REPLACING OPTIONAL STACKER MOTOR (ST-TG3)

Before proceeding, switch off the printer and remove the optional Stacker unit installed at the front of the

printer.
Detach the Cover (LH) of the Stacker unit. Refer to Section 7.27 Replacing Optional Stacker PCB (ST-

TG3) for details.
Detach the Cover (RH) of the Stacker unit as describe in step 7 of Section 7.28 Replacing Optional

Stacker Timing Belt (ST-TG3) .
Remove the connector (1) of the motor wiring harness from the Motor PCB board .

Remove a screw (2) to detach the micro sensor limiter switch (3).
5.
Remove two screws (4) securing the stacker motor.
6.
Using a Hex wrench , remove two Hex socket set screw (5) to detach the Motor pulley (Z=32) (6) from

the motor shaft.
Withdraw the Stacker motor assembly (7) and replace as necessary.
8.
Reverse the above procedures for reassembly.
9.
Insert the wiring harnesses firmly and arrange the wiring harnesses to ensure that they are not pinched
during installation.
After replacement, adjust the timing belt tension based on Section 6.21 Adjusting Optional Stacker
