7.4 REPLACING FEED ROLLER (cont'd)
Replace the defective Feed roller .

Match the lines indicating drilled hole positions of feed roller with the center of hex socket screw holes in
the adapter. Then insert the feed roller.
With the Hex wrench , tighten the first screw lightly. Turn the feed roller 120-degree and tighten the other

screw securely. Turn the feed roller 120-degree again, and then tighten the first screw securely.
Note:
Make sure the feed roller is inserted firmly and tighten the screws.
Re-attach the Bearing and the Supporter clamps and fasten the three screws (1) back to secure the

platen roller assembly .
Re-install the Operator panel cover back to the printer.

Reload the media to the printer and restore power.
10.
Perform feed and backfeed motions, making sure that there is no paper slack. Print a test pattern to ensure
proper function.
