7.13 REPLACING TORQUE LIMITER FOR UNWINDER

Before proceeding, switch off the printer.
1.
From the back of the printer, remove a screw (1) and detach the Label rear cover (2).
2.
Remove the screw (3) that attach the Media shaft (4) to the shaft base (5).
3.
Pull out the Media shaft and keep aside the two ball bearing (6) for later reassemble.
4.
On the Media shaft , remove the small pan head screw (7) that fix the Torque Limiter (8).
5.
Pull out the Torque Limiter (8) in the direction of the arrow as shown, and replace as necessary.
6.
Reverse the above procedures for reassembly.
7.
Note:
Align the convex and concave shapes of Torque Limiter (8) to the small screw hole on the Media shaft
(4) and fit the small pan head screw (7).
