6.6 ADJUSTING PITCH OFFSET (Cont'd)
Use the micro driver to turn the potentiometer, VR2 (PITCH) , located on the Main PCB (CONT) , to the

right or left to adjust the value, and then press the FEED button to save the value.
The adjustment range is ±0.15" ( ±3.75mm) and each turn of the potentiometer changes the value by 0.01"
(0.25mm) .
Turning clockwise (+ positive value) causes the print position to move backward against paper feed direc-
tion.
Turning counter-clockwise (- negative value) causes the print position to move forward against the paper
feed direction.

6.6.2 To adjust the Pitch Offset base on media used
Enter to MAINTENANCE MODE, select SERVICE MODE and then press

Press the arrow buttons to select PITCH OFFSET on the SERVICE

MODE screen, and press the FEED button. The PITCH OFFSET screen
appears.
