6.10 ADJUSTING CUTTER SENSORS (Cont'd)
Turn on the power and use a micro driver to adjust the VR1 potentiometer of the cutter position sensor until

the readings of the multimeter satisfied the following condition.
With the white slider positioned at the SEN1 , adjust the VR1 potentiometer until the reading of the multim-
eter is +0.5V or below.
With the white slider positioned away from SEN1 , adjust the VR1 potentiometer until the reading of the
multimeter is +4.0V or more.
Turn off the power. Connect [+] probe to Pin 1 of CUT-SW connector, and [ - ] probe to Pin 4 (SG) of CUT-

SW connector. Shift the white slider to SEN2 sensor position.
Turn on the power. While setting the white slider at SEN2 sensor or away the sensor, use a micro driver to

If you are having difficulty adjusting the sensor properly, clean the sensor portion and check the connector

connection. If the problem persists, replace the sensor PCB.
Turn off the power and install the cutter unit.

Notes:
Be careful not to hurt your fingers with the circle cutter. For your safety, turn off the power before setting the
sensor plate.
Touching other connector pins may result in short circuit. Turn off the power first when setting the probe for
measurement.
