The function code is used to enable magnetic
flux braking.
0: Disable
100–150: A greater coefficient indicates greater
braking strength.
The VFD can quickly slow down the motor by
increasing the magnetic flux. The energy
generated by the motor during braking can be
transformed into heat energy by increasing the
magnetic flux.
The VFD monitors the state of the motor
continuously even during the magnetic flux
period. Magnetic flux braking can be used for
motor stop, as well as for motor rotation speed
change. The other advantages include:
Braking is performed immediately after the stop
command is given. The braking can be started
without waiting for magnetic flux weakening.
The cooling is better. The current of the stator
other than the rotor increases during magnetic
flux braking, while the cooling of the stator is
more effective than the rotor.
This function code is used to adjust the current
display value on the AC input side.
0.00–1.00
0: Lock upon STO alarm
Lock upon STO alarm indicates resetting is
required after state restoration if STO occurs.
