Use a chip puller and pull the GAL straight up until
it comes free of the socket.
f) Disconnect the alerter cable from wherever it is
connected — keypad PCP or external interface
hookswitch module.
g) Go to step 4.
3. If you are replacing a daughter board:
a) Locate the smart card alert daughter board on the
control PCP.
Refer to Figure 3-14, if necessary.
b) Grasp the board by the side edges and pull straight
up, off the control PCP.
