3. Inside the front housing, remove the cotter pin from the
swivel as shown in Figure 2-16.
The cotter pin fits into a groove in the swivel, and lies
flush against the inside of the housing.
4. Slide the swivel assembly out of the housing.
5. Guide the armored cord and the handset leads, which
are in the same black sheathing, through the opening
in the housing.
6. Remove the screw retaining the swivel clamp and
ESD strap to the swivel.
Refer to Figure 2-12 to locate the screw.
The swivel clamp holds the lanyard end-fitting of the
armored cord to the swivel.
