To run a Query on the Thermostat every 15 minutes:

If you are having trouble linking a Thermostat please check the following:

• Signal related ... too far away from the closest Access Point

• Defective dongle

• Wrong address

The version 1 Insteon thermostat does not automatically inform the ISY of its current

status. For the ISY to have a reasonable idea of the thermostat's current temp, setpoint,

mode, etc. it will need to be polled periodically.

TriggerLincs are RF devices, thus require the installation of an INSTEON RF receiver (such

as an INSTEON AccessPoint).

The TriggerLinc cannot be linked using Auto Discover. To link a TriggerLinc to the ISY,

please choose the LINK MANAGEMENT pulldown, then NEW INSTEON DEVICE. Enter the

device address manually (found inside the battery compartment), then select the "2421

TriggerLinc" from the Device Type list.
