Averaging
Selects the number of measurement sweeps to be averaged. When on is
selected, the number of sweeps to be averaged is selected from the softkeys.
Alternately, averaging values other than those displayed can be entered by
using the numeric keypad or the knob when the Avg Count active function
area is displayed. 1 to 1000 averages can be set.
When the number of sweeps taken is less than the count, the following for-

Backup Internal Memory
Accesses the analyzer backup utility. A screen appears asking you to insert a
formatted floppy disk into the floppy drive. The existing contents of the inter-
nal memory is then saved on the disk. The Backup Internal Memory function
overwrites the floppy disk with a new image. Any existing files or catalogs on
the floppy disk will be destroyed. The disk will not be viewable on a PC and no
trace or measurement files can be saved onto the disk until it is reformatted.
Any successive backup operations will overwrite the previous backup informa-
tion, so only the latest backup information can be recovered through the
Restore Internal Memory operation.
