use iread(). For HP Basic for windows, use ENTER.
VISA (Virtual Instrument Software Architecture) is an I/O library designed
according to the VXI plug and play system alliance.
SICL (Standard Instrument Control Library) is an I/O library developed by
Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies that is portable across many sys-
tems and I/O interfaces.
