2.9.8 Removal and Installation
2.9.8.1 Oil Pump Replacement
Removal Procedure:
Warning!
After a new oil pump is installed, the oil collection filters,
must be inspected. Refer to engine oil pan replacement
and oil collection filters replacement.
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to
2.11.8.1 Battery
2. Remove the timing chain cover. Refer to
Chain Cover
3. Remove the timing chain. Refer to
Replacement.
4. Remove oil pump bolts.

5. Remove the oil pump from the engine block.

Disconnection.
Replacement.
