Connect scan tool, when the ignition switch is turned to "ST" position, observe the scan tool data: Engine / data list /
"engine speed."
Turn the ignition switch to the "ST" position, is engine speed showing?

Step 7 Check the crankshaft position sensor.
Yes
Check the crankshaft position sensor signal circuit.

Step 9 Check ECM power supply circuit.
Yes
Replace ECM.
