Connect scan tool.
Step 1
Next
Step 2 Start engine and turn on the scan tool.
Next
Step 3 Maintain engine speed at 2,500 rpm for more than 2 min to warm up the engine, until the engine coolant
temperature reaches 80°C (176 ºF).
Next
Step 4 Select on scan tool: Engine/Read data stream/group 1 oxygen sensor voltage 1 (Pre-Catalytic oxygen
sensors).
Next
Observe the oxygen sensor output voltage, the data should fluctuate within 0.1-0.8 V.
