Turn the ignition switch to "OFF" position.

Connect scan tool to the datalink connector.
(c)
Turn off the A/C switch.
(d)
Turn the ignition switch to "ON" position.
(e)
Select in sequence: Engine / Data List / Engine Coolant
Temperature.
(f)
Observe the temperature measured by the engine coolant
temperature sensor. When the engine is completely cooled
down, this temperature should be slightly higher than the
ambient temperature.
Confirmation shows the temperature is normal.

Turn the ignition switch to "OFF" position.

Remove High-Speed cooling fan relay.
(c)
Disconnect cooling fan wiring harness connector CA16.
(d)
Check and repair the circuit between relay and connector
short to power supply.
