4. Diagnostic Steps:
Check APP sensor harness connector IP50 terminal No.2 voltage.

Acceleration Pedal Position Sensor IP50

Step 2 Check resistance between APP sensor harness connector IP50 terminal No.3 and a reliable ground.

Acceleration Pedal Position Sensor
(a) Turn the ignition switch to "OFF" position.
(b) Disconnect APP sensor harness connector IP50.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to "ON" position.
(d) Measure voltage between IP50 terminal No.2 and a reliable
ground.
Standard Voltage: 4.8-5 .2 V
Standard values?
If the voltage is higher than the standard
No
value, the circuit is short to power supply, if
the voltage is lower than the standard value.
