4. Remove the engine coolant inlet pipe to the cylinder block
retaining nuts.

5. Remove the engine coolant inlet pipe component from the
cylinder block.

6. Remove the thermostat from the cylinder block.
Note
The thermostat and seals are integrated.
7. Clean the engine coolant inlet pipe and cylinder block
mating surface.
