Installation Procedure:
1. Clean the residual sealant on the timing chain cover and
cylinder.
2. Apply special sealant on the timing chain cover and
cylinder block mounting surface evenly and install the
timing chain cover.
Note
Before installing the timing chain cover, pay
attention to check the timing chain marks made
above are consistent. If there is bias, please re-
install the timing chain. Refer to 2.6.8.10 Timing
Chain Replacement.
3. Install M6 timing chain cover tightening bolts and nuts, but
do not tighten at this stage.
