The SERVOPACK is equipped with various functions to protect the driver and motor from damage.
The SERVOPACK is equipped with a dynamic brake for emergency stops. The brake is operated
for any of the following conditions.
D When an alarm occurs (error detection)
D When the servo receives SV_OFF command
D When power is turned OFF
Table. 5.2 shows the error detection function in the SERVOPACK. Alarm details can be checked
by MECHATROLINK communication and SVALM output.

S The load torque for the motor and SERVOPACK was ex-
ceeded.
S SERVOPACK heat sink overheated.
The hardware circuit is abnormal.
S An overrun was caused by the motor or the PG wiring in-
correct.
S Noise in encoder wiring
Absolute encoder alarm.
A user constant or command error.
The number of pulses accumuated in the error counter
exceeded the preset value.
