The following is the output from the upgrade software command and a
successful simplex upgrade.

The system is upgrading the software.
If the card-mem checksum fails, the system
reboots without performing the upgrade. Retry the
command with another software card-mem.
If the MTP programming fails, the Manager I does
not function anymore, meaning that the rest of the
upgrade (if it occurs) are not visible and the MTP
will not be present to monitor the health of the
processor. The only recovery procedure is to
power down and power up the system, since the
presence of a software card-mem will cause a
software upgrade.
The rest of the memory is being erased.
This shows the status of the reprogramming. A
total of 7 Mbytes has to be reprogrammed. If the
reprogramming fails in the midst of upgrade, it will
take the system into SPE-down mode. In this
mode, the system technician can only reset the
system or display alarms. The system should be
reset and another upgrade attempted due to the
detection of a software card-mem in the system.
