Apply grease to the lips of a new oil seal and install
it so that it is flush with the gear case.

RING GEAR INSTALLATION
Clean the mating surfaces of t he ring gear and dif·
ferential housing thoroughly and install the ring
gear, aligning the bolt holes in the gear and hous-
ing .

Apply locking agent to the threads of the ring gear
has lefr-hand bolts.

Install the ring gear bolts and tighten them in a
crisscross pal1ern in several steps.
TORQUE: 58 N ·m (5.9 kgf·m . 43 IbUt)
