connector.
Check
for
continuity
between the wire
harness
side 2P brown connector terminal and ground.
Connection: Yellow/green

Reproduction
Connect the shift solenoid valve B 2P brown con-
nector and
PCM
33P black connector.
Erase the
DTG
(page 6-13).
Test-d
rive
the vehicle and stop
the
engine.
Recheck the DTG with the
HOS
pocket tester.
Is
OTe 16-1
indicated
7
YES
- Replace the
PCM
with a new one and
recheck.
NO
- Interminent
failure.
DTC 16-2
(SHIFT
SOLENOID VALVE B

OPEN)
Before starting the troubleshooting, check the
shift solenoid valve B 2P brown connector for
loose or poor contacts, and recheck
the
DTC.
1. Recheck OTe
Test-drive the vehicle
and
stop
the
engine.
Recheck the current DTC with
the HDS pocket
tester.

Valve B Inspection
Turn
the ignition switch to
OFF (0
).
Disconnect the shift solenoid valve B 2P brown
connector.
Measure the
resistance between
the solenoid
valve side 2P connector
terminals.
Is
the
resistance within 14.6
- 16.2
