FUEL SYSTEM (PGM -FI)
FUEL TANK SIDE
1. Release the fuel feed hose from the clips on the
fuel tank and air duct
2. Clean the Quick connect fitting if necessary, and
place
a
shop towel Oller the quick connect fitting.
3, Pull the rubber cOlier off the joint pipe as shown.

4. Hold the connector with one hand, squeeze the

retainer tabs with the other hand to release the

locking pawls from the connector and pull the
connector off the fuel pipe.

• Prevent the remaining fuel in the fuel feed hose
from flowing out with a shop towel.
• Be careful not to damage the feed hose, connec-
tor and fuel pipe.
• Do not use tools.
• If the connect or does not move, keep the retainer
tabs pressed down, and alternately pull and push
the connector until it releases.
5. Remove the retainer and rubber cover from the
fuel pipe.
6. To prevent damage and keep foreign matter out,
cover the connector and fuel pipe with plastic
bags.
