REFACING
NOTE :
• Follow the retaeer manufacturer'S operating
instructions .
• Be ca reful not to grind the seat more than neces·
say.
If the contact area is 100 h ig h on the valve, the seat
must be lowered using a 32° flat cutter.
If the contact area is too Iowan the valve, the seat
must be raised using a 600 interior cutter.
Using a 45° seat cutter, remove any roughness or
irregularities from the seat.
TOOLS :
Seat cutter, 35 mm UN/ EX) 07780·0010400
Cutter holder, 5.5 mm 07781 ·0010101
or equivalent commercially available in U.S.A.
Using a 32° flat cutter, remove 1/4 of the existing
valve seat material.
TOOLS:
Flat cutter, 38.5 mm (IN)
Flat cutter, 35 mm (EX)
Cutter ho lder, 5.5 mm
