TROUBLESHOOTING
Oil level too low - high oil consumption
• Oil consumption
• External oil leak
• Worn piston rings or incorrect piston ring installation
• Worn cylinder
• Worn valve guides or stem seals
• Oil pump worn or damaged
low oil pressure
• Oil level low
• Oil pressure relief valve wear
• Clogged oil strainer or filter
• Faulty oil pump
• Internal oil leak
• Incorrect oil being used
No oil pressure
• Oil level too low
• Oil pressure relief valve stuck open
• Broken oil pump drive chain
