Remove the top
OPS (page 3-21).

the cargo bed
bv pulling up on the
release
lever and
then raise the bed.
REAR
OPS
Remove the following:

joint
nuts and bolts
-
mounting bolt (front side)
-
two mounting
nut
and
bolts
(rear side)
-
rear
QPS
Installation is in
the reverse
order
of
removal.

SEAT BELT INSTRUCTIONS
•
When storing the vehicle outdoors, cover the
cabin area and keep the seat
belt
assemblies
away
from
sunlight and
rain.
•
Do
not
apply grease to the
seat belt componen
ts.
To
do so wilt cause dirt or sand
to
contaminate
the
component
s, resulting in a loss of seat belt
function.
•
If
the
seat belt gets wet, use a dry clean cloth and
allow to air
dry. Never use
a
dryer.
•
If dirt or other foreign
material
enters
the buckle,
remove
it
by rinsing
the
buckle
with clean water
and allow
to air
dry.
Make
sure
the buckle
fu nc-
tions correctly
by
inserting
the tag
several times.
•
Replace the seat belt with a
new
assembly
if
any
of the
following
conditions
occur.
Do not disas-
semble any part of
the
seat
belt.
-
the
belt
is ragged,
worn or
broken
-
the
vehicle is involved in a
col
lision, overturns,
is submerged, etc.
