Apply locking agent to the threads of the tensioner
pivot bolt.
Install the cam chain tensioner and pivot collar with
the flange side of the collar facing to the crankcase,
and tighten the bolt.
Install the oil pump drive and cam chains onto the
crankshaft.
Install the following:
oil pump (page 5·11)
1st shift clutch and torque converter (page 14-56)
- flywheel/starter clutch (page 11-13)
- sub-transmission/gearshift linkage (page 12-13)
- cylinder and piston (page 10-8)
- engine (page 8-9)
