The Port Mirroring page contains the following fields:
Session — Specifies the monitoring session.
Admin Mode — Enables or Disables the port mirroring.
Destination Port — Select the port to which port traffic may be copied.
Reset Session — Allows you to reset the port monitoring session.
Source Port — Lists the source ports that have been added from the Add Source Port page.
Type — Shows the type traffic monitored on the source port.
Adding a Port Mirroring Session
NOTE: A Port will be removed from a VLAN or LAG when it becomes a destination mirror.
1. Open the Port Mirroring page.
2. Click Add to display the Add Source Port page.

3. Configure the following fields:
Session — Select the session to monitor.
Source Port —Select the unit and port from which traffic is mirrored. Up to four source ports can be
mirrored to a destination port.
Type — Specifies the type of traffic monitored. Possible field values are:
TX — Monitors transmitted packets only.
RX — Monitors received packets only.
TX and RX — Monitors transmitted and received packets.
4. Click Apply Changes.
The new port mirroring session is enabled for the unit and port, and the device is updated. The source
port appears in the Source Port table on the Port Mirroring page.
