Port — Specifies the Unit and Port for which storm control is enabled.
Storm Control Mode — Specifies the mode of broadcast affected by storm control.
Broadcast — If the rate of L2 broadcast traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the
configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped.
Multicast — If the rate of L2 multicast traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the
configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped.
Unknown Unicast — If the rate of unknown L2 unicast (destination lookup failure) traffic
ingressing on an interface increases beyond the configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped.
Storm Control Admin Mode — Enables or Disables Storm Control.
Storm Control Rate Threshold (0–100%) — Specifies the maximum rate at which unknown packets
are forwarded. The range is a percent of the total threshold.
Defining Storm Control Port Parameters
1. Open the Storm Control interface.
2. Edit the fields on the screen.
3. Click Apply Changes.
The storm control port parameters are saved to the switch.
Displaying the Storm Control Settings Table
1. Open the Storm Control interface.
2. Click Show All.
The Storm Control Settings Table displays.

3. Use the Unit drop-down menu to view the Storm Control Settings Table for other units in the stack, if
they exist.
