stp transmit-limit

Syntax
stp transmit-limit packetnum
undo stp transmit-limit
View
Ethernet port view
Parameter
packetnum: Specifies the amount limit to the transmitted packets, ranging from 1
to 255 (expressed as a counter value without any units). By default, the value is 3.
Description
Use the stp transmit-limit command to configure an amount limit to the
configuration BPDU transmitted via a port during the Hello Time.
Use the undo stp transmit-limit command to restore the default limit.
The larger the value is, the more packets can be transmitted in a time unit, yet the
more switch resources will be occupied. With a moderate value, the amount of the
BPDUs transmitted during Hello Time via every port can be limited and MSTP will
not occupy too many bandwidth resources when the network topology flaps.
Related command: stp interface transmit-limit.
Example
# Set a limit of 5 to the packets transmitted via Ethernet2/1/1.

vlan-mapping modulo

Syntax
vlan-mapping modulo modulo
undo vlan-mapping modulo
View

Parameter
modulo: Specifies the modulus, ranging from 1 to 48.
Description
Use the vlan-mapping modulo command to map fast and symmetrically all
VLAN lists to the specified MSTIs according to the modulo operation results.
