timer response-timeout seconds
undo timer response-timeout

Parameter
seconds: TACACS server response timeout time, which is in the range of 1 to 300
seconds and defaults to 5 seconds.
Description
Use the timer response-timeout command to set the TACACS server response
timeout time.
Use the undo timer response-timeout command to restore the default setting.
Since HWTACACS is implemented based on TCP, so server response timeout or
TCP timeout may terminate the connection to the TACACS server.
Related command: display hwtacacs.
Example
# Set the TACACS server response timeout time to 30 seconds.
[SW8800] hwtacacs scheme test1
[3Com-hwtacacs-test1] timer response-timeout 30
