2.5.3 Performing filament definition

*) Use when the X-ray unit is equipped with Planmeca ProCeph cephalostat,
or if the collimator filter is manually removed. For more information, contact
Planmeca After Sales.
**) Available if the X-ray unit is equipped with the optional 120 kV X-ray tube.
The X-ray tube filament definition must be performed whenever the tube
head and/or the power supply PCB is replaced.
To perform the X-ray tube filament definition, follow the steps below.
1. Enter the technical settings menu.
See more in section "Entering technical settings menu" on page 51.
2. Select the Calibrations (3200) > Filament Definition (3210).

Planmeca ProMax 3D Max X-ray units can be
equipped with a 96 kV X-ray tube or an optional
120 kV X-ray tube. The tube head setup
automatically designates the collimator selection,
so there is no Collimator Type option on the Unit
Configuration screen.
