5.3.9 Panoramic mode patient positioning lights

5.3.9.1 Adjusting midsagittal plane light position

After successful Beam Check, perform the panoramic beam Flat Field
calibration again as described in the Device Tool manual.
1. Attach the ball phantom to the patient positioning mechanism adapter.
2. Move the thumb wheel of the layer light slightly to switch the three
patient positioning lights on.
The layer light thumb wheel is located on the underside of the patient
support table.
3. Check the midsagittal light beam position.
The midsagittal light beam (1) should strike the black line on the front of
the ball phantom (see the figure below).
4. Adjust the light, if necessary.

Remove the patient support table cover.
