Collimator configurations vary depending on the X-ray unit setup. The
following figures show the standard collimator assemblies.
• 2D - For Planmeca ProMax 2D models:
• v2 with filter - For Planmeca ProMax 3D models:
• v2 without filter - For Planmeca ProMax models with Planmeca ProCeph
cephalostat attached, or for collimators with the filter manually removed:
NOTE
For radiation dosage reasons it is not recommended to remove the filter.
Select the v2 without filter option only if the X-ray unit has a Planmeca
ProCeph cephalostat attached. For more information or assistance,
