Before you proceed with the calibration of the tomographic lights, ensure
that you have completed the following actions:
Perform the angle sensor calibration; for more information, see section
"Calibrating angle sensors" on page 115.
Perform 3D calibrations; for more information, see section "3D
calibrations" on page 124.
Perform the SmartPan Beam Check and Flat Field calibration; for more
Calibration instructions with Planmeca Device Tool
information, see
manual.
Stick a strip of tape (included in the delivery) on top of the Y-line on the
ball phantom, taking care to place it as shown in the figure below.
You can mark the crossing points of the light beams on the tape, and the
light beams can be seen more clearly.
The patient positioning table adjustment and positioning lights adjustment
procedures consist of the tomographic light calibration and the ball phantom
test.
1. Switch on the X-ray unit.
2. Removing covers.

Enter the panoramic exposure mode.
2.b.
Remove the sensor head covers and the lower cover of the C-arm
as well as the shoulder arm cover.
