5.4 Traditional adjustment procedures

To focus the light beam adjust the depth of the lens assembly (5).
Depending on the laser holder type in use, see instructions below.
(A) Revision 1 laser: To focus the light beam, adjust the depth of
the lens assembly (3).
(B) Revision 2 laser: To focus the light beam, loosen slightly the
lens attachment screw (3) (1.5 mm Allen key) and adjust the depth
of the lens assembly. After adjusting, tight gently the attachment
screw.

To adjust the light beam angle rotate the lens assembly of the light
(6).

(A) Revision 1 laser: To adjust the light beam angle, rotate the
lens assembly of the light.
(B) Revision 2 laser: To adjust the light beam angle, loosen
slightly the lens attachment screw (1) (1.5 mm Allen key) and
rotate the lens assembly of the light. After adjusting, tight gently
the attachment screw.
3. Attach the tube head front cover to its position and check that the light
beam comes properly through the cover opening and is correctly
positioned (as described above).
CAUTION
Most of the following procedures are the same as instructed in section
"Recommended adjustment procedures" on page 104, and the overlapping
processes are linked below. Follow the processes as outlined in this section,
as there are important variations.
