8.5 Replacing other components

8.5.1 Replacing column battery on RTC PCB

4. Replace the power cable and connectors as shown in step 2.
5. Tighten the housing to a tolerance of 3 Nm.
WARNING
Always turn the X-ray unit off before replacing the battery.
1. Turn off the unit from the mains switch.
2. Remove the column front cover as described in section "Removing
telescopic column front covers" on page 202.
3. Unscrew the two M4x6 DIN 7984 screws with 2.5 mm Allen key from the
RTC PCB cover and remove the cover.
4. Remove the old battery from its socket on the RTC PCB and place a
new 20 mm Lithium Coin Cell Battery 3V (type CR2032) to the battery
socket.
