Adjust the SmartPan beam position as instructed in section "Adjusting
SmartPan beam position" on page 104.
Adjust the collimator angle as instructed in section "Adjusting collimator
angle" on page 106.
For more information on adjusting the collimator angle for 96 kV tube heads,
see section"Adjusting collimator angle (96 kV tube head)" on page 106.
For more information on adjusting the collimator angle for 120 kV tube
heads, see section "Adjusting collimator angle (120 kV tube head)" on page
108.
1. Enter the panoramic exposure mode.
2. Remove the sensor head covers and the lower cover of the C-arm as
well as the shoulder arm cover. Refer to sections "Removing sensor
covers" on page 191, "Removing C-arm upper covers" on page 193,
"Removing C-arm inner cover" on page 194, and "Removing shoulder
arm covers" on page 199.
3. Remove the cover of the patient support table, refer to section
"Removing patient support arm covers" on page 200.
4. Attach the ball phantom (part number 30012440) to the patient
positioning mechanism adapter.
NOTE
If the X-ray unit is equipped with optional 120 kV tube head, see instructions
given in section "Attaching calibration tools (120 kV tube head)" on page
156.
1. Enter the SmartPan exposure mode, if the X-ray unit equipped with
SmartPan feature.
2. Enter the calibration mode:
1. Touch the service spanner on the Main display.
2. Touch Technical and enter password (1701).
