5.3.9.4 Adjusting volume bottom light

To focus the light beam adjust the depth of the lens assembly
(4). Depending on the laser holder type in use, see
instructions below.
(A) Revision 1 laser: To focus the light beam, adjust the depth
of the lens assembly (3).
(B) Revision 2 laser: To focus the light beam, loosen slightly
the lens attachment screw (3) (1.5 mm Allen key) and adjust
the depth of the lens assembly. After adjusting, tight gently the
attachment screw.
NOTE
The light beam must reach the rear end of the Frankfort plane
alignment tool. Make sure that the light beam is not limited by the
column front cover.
4. Reattach the telescopic column upper front panel.
NOTE
When the X-ray unit is equipped with volume bottom light check that the
volume bottom light located in the column is disabled.
