5.3.8.1 Ball roundness adjustment

5. The passing tolerances are the same as for other units:
1. Ball roundness: Width / height ≥ 0.95
2. Rear ball distance: ≤ 1.6 mm
3. [X1 - X2]: ≤ 3.2 mm]

For more information on correcting failed test results, see sections "Ball
roundness adjustment" on page 134 and "Rear ball distance and (X1 - X2)
adjustment" on page 141.
If the ball phantom test fails due to ball roundness failure, the ball phantom's
centre ball is either too wide or too narrow.
Remove the shoulder arm covers as instructed in section "Removing
shoulder arm covers" on page 199.
NOTE
Before performing any adjustment to the shoulder arm, ensure that the
patient support table is correctly calibrated. See section "Patient positioning
table and positioning lights adjustment" on page 126.
