117237-E Rev.00
To edit or create a route, use the following syntax:
[co] [ip] [mod | new] route type/ipaddress/masklen/path-name
co: If the router is not already in config mode (the prompt ends in
a #), this command enters config mode. If you are already in
config mode there is no need to type this command.
ip: Moves the BCC to the ip# object. If you are already at the ip#
object prompt, there is no need to enter this command.
mod | new | del: A verb that is associated with the route. mod is
the modify verb and allows you to edit an existing route,
the new verb and creates a new static route, del is the delete verb
and must be used if you want to delete a route. mod and new are
optional verbs.
Note:
It is not possible to delete the route that points to LAN01.
route: Moves the BCC to the ip route object.
type: Specifies the type of route on which you are working.
Routes that are created manually are always shown as S (static).
For a list of route types, refer to
ipaddress: The IP address of the remote router.
masklen: The mask length associated with the IP address.
path-name: The path with which this route is associated.
After you have modified or created a route, the BCC moves into
the ip route object. Typing i at this prompt lists all the parameters
that can be setup for the route.
