Alternatively you may need extra security on your router.
Entering a password here will set up the passwords/secrets for
incoming and outgoing PAP and CHAP.
If you require more information on Password Authentication
Protocol (PAP) and Challenge Handshake Authentication
Protocol (CHAP), refer to Chapter 8.
At this point a call is made to the specified ISDN number to
establish routes. After a minute you can cancel this call using the
verb, for example:
cancel
box# can 123456
where
is the MTD for the cancel verb (Appendix A) and
can
123456 is the ISDN number to be cancelled.
It is useful to save the configuration at this point as well. Type
at the prompt and press enter:
save
[Save] bcc> save
Config saved
bcc>
After the Quick Setup option has run, and the configuration
changes are saved, it is important to be aware of what has
happened to the router. Refer to "Quick Setup Checks" on
3-15
for this information.
