If you are responsible for configuring Nautica routers, you need
to read this guide.
You can now use the Bay Command Console (BCC) to configure
Nautica routers. In this guide, you will find instructions for using
the BCC. The guide also mentions other software systems used by
Nautica routers including Nautica Wizard and Nautica Manager.
Refer to the documentation that came with these software
packages for information on how to use them.
Before using this guide, you must complete the following
procedures:
• Install the router (refer to the installation manual that came
with your router).
• Load PC software like Nautica Wizard (refer to the on-line
manual that came with the software).
In the Nautica Wizard window, make sure that the latest version
of Bay Networks NauticaRS software (at time of print this is
NauticaRS 5.0x) is loaded. For instructions on upgrading to the
latest version of the router code, refer to the on-line
documentation that came with Nautica Wizard.
