Modifying Devices

117237-E Rev.00
After you have listed the devices at the box# prompt, it is possible
to edit one of the devices. The following MTC is used when
editing devices:
[co] [mod] dev type/name
where co moves the BCC into config mode (if necessary); mod
modifies the device (optional); dev moves the BCC into the
device object; type is the type of device to be edited and name is
the name assigned to the device.
For example, at the box# (config) prompt, the following is typed
to modify the Basic Rate Interface (BRI) device:
box# dev bri/isdn-ta01
device/bri/isdn-ta01#
As in the previous example, the BCC prompt changes to show
that you are now inside the device object. Typing i (the MTD for
the info command) at a device prompt displays a list of all the
device parameters.
