syslog-host
0.0.0.0
An IP address
Allows you to specify where the BCC sends its debug
information. An entry of 0.0.0.0 stops logging via
Syslog.
Change this IP address to the IP address of your PC, or
the host that is to receive debug information.
log-local
0
A value from 0 to 7
Some Syslog daemons allow you to send specific types
of logs to different files. For example, disk errors could
be sent to log 0, IPX errors to log 1 and so on.
The BCC allows you to set log levels for individual
modules, so this functionality is only necessary if you
are sending logs to another Syslog daemon other than
the BCC.
Only change this option if you are sending logs to a
remote Syslog daemon. If you change the value and use
the BCC trace window (Appendix A) command to read
the logs, the Local Log number is ignored.
